I'm a coding enthusiast, who loves to learn novel technologies involving the Web and Mobile platforms. My current project at Lehigh Informatics lab is to create an intuitive web application for scientific softwares from the lab, specifically, VASP - an algorithm for the Volumetric Analysis of Surface Properties. Our goal is to create an easy-to-use but powerful web application for scientists to look at and analyze proteins structures and molecules. Due to the cross-platform nature of the Web environment, the application, which we fondly named VASPi, can work elegantly anywhere on any platforms, as long as internet connection is available. And because of the collaborative capability of the Web, scientists can seamlessly share their work with each other at the same time without the burden and disruption of copy-paste. Think of VASPi as Google Docs for biologists.
